The Grand Prix product line from Robline consists of ropes tested and optimized in race conditions.

These constructions were successfully installed on RC 44, M32, GC32, Club Swan 50, and other Grand Prix yachts. They come in diameters from 7.5mm on up. The highest performing among those lines feature breaking loads of up to 45 tons and are used as Genoa sheets for Maxiyachts.

We use three different types of core, each surrounded by braided covers optimized for the respective diameters and types of use.

 

 

STS – STRONGER THAN STEEL® TECHNOLOGY

Thanks to our one-of-a-kind STS – Stronger than Steel® Technology, we are able to produce ropes featuring exceptionally low stretch for the required diameters. This allows Grand Prix sailors to choose small diameters, which results in low windage and top weight. Even so, sailors still get better responsiveness and optimum implementation of the trim.
