Following his separation from Tanja Frank, Thomas chose his new bowwoman after careful and thorough consideration. In February 2017, he finally made his pick, and at the Kiel Week in June the new team already claimed its first  win in the Nacra 17 class.
 

Apart from the Olympic classes, Tom Zajac is now also competing in other boating disciplines with great success. For example, in the recently introduced, Red Bull sponsored Flying Phantom Series which is coupled with the GC32 Extreme Sailing Series. Furthermore, he was victorious with different bowmen in competitions in Madeira and Barcelona. Recently, he also started to take part in races with bigger boats. In mid-July, he was tactician aboard an M32 and helped the crew take 3rd  place.
 

Tom Zajac has served as one of the development partners for the FSE Robline brand for several years, and this partnership has also developed into a good friendship. Therefore, it makes us all the happier when our jointly developed ropes continue to help Tom claim victories, time and time again.
